Kate graduated university with a degree in fashion and having worked as a designer for two years, decided that a change was in order, she promptly packed up her knitting needles and said 'ta ta' to knitwear.

She then went onto study millinery at Kensington and Chelsea College where she graduated with a distinction. She can currently be found in the couture department of millinery legend Stephen Jones, as well as Atelier Millinery, where she assists with the private orders.

Within her own work Kate creates stylish headpieces, many with a nod to eras gone by. Her weekends are spent trawling flea markets looking for the perfect vintage trimming to put on 'that' hat. Her real passion is private commissions, working closely with the client to create something totally unique to fit the occasion.
